In Evolutionary Astrology, the purpose is to gain understanding about not just What, or How things come into our lives, but Why. The premise is that we each have a mission and purpose, and that our relationship to the Cosmos may help to shine a light on these.
An astrological consult is helpful in providing insights into our life experiences, in order to have a better understanding of how to find a path forward to maximize our personal growth.
I’ve done countless numbers of interpretations and consults since I was 20 years old, and during the Pandemic, I began formal schooling to become a Certified Astrologer, something I was in the process of doing just before I moved to Nashville to work in the music business.
As a result, I’m officially teaching Astrology and offering Astrological consults on a professional basis, so here are the details:
Evolutionary Astrological Consultation
An Astrological consult is an in-depth interpretation of the dynamics at play in your life, according to the day, month, year and time of your birth. It is also a look into how the current patterns and positions of the planets interact with the dynamics in your “birth chart”. Prior to each consult, I do an extensive study of these dynamics, then spend time going over them with you via Zoom, or phone.
Suggested Donation:
$135 for Initial Consult
$50 for Followup Consult
This consult is based on your birth date (day, month and year), the location of your birth, and your exact birth time (this is necessary for accuracy of the consult).
Classes:
Introduction to Basic Evolutionary Astrology (via Zoom)
This is a class I’ve really enjoyed teaching, and it’s the equivalent of “Astrology for Dummies”. We break things down and simplify and de-mystify the components and dynamics of Astrology. The goal is to educate, have fun, and give you some “Aha moments”!
—- The first week features a Free Introductory Class —-
This is an introduction to the birth chart (or in the old language, the Horoscope, meaning a geometric chart based on the hour of birth), and its basic meaning. We’ll pick a participant’s chart at random, and discuss the dynamics of that person’s chart. We’ll talk about the history of Astrology and debunk some of the myths and taboos that surround it. We’ll also touch on some of the planetary aspects of the Pandemic, plus the Pluto return of the United States.
If that encourages you to go further, then sign up for a 3-week study, held once per week.
Suggested Donation:
$35 per class
We hold class weekly, 3 classes at a time
In these classes, we’ll address these questions:
Why does Astrology matter? How does Astrology work? What can my birth chart tell me? Isn’t Astrology just a fancy way of Fortune Telling? How could the planets and stars possibly have any influence on me when they are so far away? “What is my sign?” What does that mean?
How on Earth could the Cosmos affect my daily life? In what way could Astrology help determine why I might be here, and help me determine my missions and goals? What is a planet, really??, and what is a planet’s significance in Astrology? What does it mean when we say “… the Moon is in the 7th house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars…”?
What does the current position of the planets have to do with what’s happening in my life now? Is there such a thing as a “good” planetary event and a “bad” planetary event? How can Astrology be used as a timing tool?
Back Story
Most of you have known me as a musician through the years, and as of this year, I’m bringing forward another aspect of study in my life that I have loved just as long as I have loved music. Astronomy is something that captivated me since my Dad worked on the rockets in Cape Canaveral, Florida. I spent endless nights staring at the sky and searching for planets and moons, and pondering our relationship with these Heavenly bodies, and with the Cosmos.
When I was 19, I was introduced to Astrology, which incorporated all of the aspects of astronomy. The only difference was the added mythological and philosophical significance it assigned to each of the astronomical bodies in our Solar System.
We humans have been watching the night sky for millennia and deciphering the patterns and movements of the stars, in order to gain an understanding of what our lives may mean, and how to navigate its twists and turns.
Contrary to the old, outmoded descriptions from the past, Astrology is not a religion, nor is it “fortune telling”. I study the same Astrology that the Swiss philosopher and psychologist Dr. Carl Jung embraced, and on which he based his work on the Collective Unconscious. He was one of the most astute astrologers in Modern history, and has been a huge influence on my life and work.
